This is the first thing I've ever completed on the 3DS in terms of drawing. How? Colors! 3D, that's how. It really ain't bad for an app like it is. Great use of the touch screen, though, and I'm happy I can finally DRAW with my little bundle of joy. Watch it unfold here! I'll admit, I took a snapshot of a sketch first, then used it as the background to ink over it. (I think I'll just scan them in and load them onto my SD card in the future so I have better quality to work off of. But with my getting a new computer and tablet soon, I ponder the point...)

This is a creature I made as a Wildese monster for that story I began in 8th grade, Wildale Glades, during Poetry Workshop. I mostly just do whatever came to mind. I started with another creature, but I decided to start with this for ease with the 3DS. I think I understand how to do things a little better with Colors! 3D, now.

------

A being with only the base instincts in mind--particularly eating. Eating is its life, its joy, its single thought. Some say it is gluttony incarnate. Its mouth is directly connected to its stomach--it's possible its mouth is its stomach--and its body can fatten to enormous sizes in days. It grows three-fingered arms at larger sizes.

If it feels threatened, it can temporarily grow bigger by devouring others and digesting them almost instantly. Most can escape before digestion, but only if they remain calm, which most monsters don't. Moving by lunching and waddling, it attacks via bites, jumping slams, and tongue lashes using a huge licker. If it is big enough, it uses its arms, as well.

It'll eat anything. Its body needs a bit of time to adapt to stretching. If you quickly inflate it or set off a bomb within it, chances are you'll outstretch it before its body can adapt, bursting it!

--Size: Chair-sized to absurdly colossal
--Other variants: Fuzzy, scaly, armed; normally covered in skin
